About Midwest Xposure

Phil Berkey, Owner and Operator of Midwest Xposure started his career in website design and development in 1999 as an intern at Extreme Web Design, Co. while finishing his B.F.A. in graphic design at St. Cloud State University. Upon graduation in 2000, Phil went on to work for Pennant Group, Inc. as the Lead Designer & Web Developer for the Minnesota/Western Wisconsin Territory sales office for ThomasNet.com. Phil was initially hired for his graphic design skills to develop ads for customers in Thomas Registers Manufacturing Publication. Phil’s tenure at Pennant Group, Inc. spanned over 15 years until he branched out in 2015 to start his own web design company.

“I learned a lot in my 15 years at Pennant Group, Inc. and our partnership with ThomasNet.com. It was a time of firsts for most of us and our clients. The first website, first online marketing program, first tracking analytics, first SEO program, etc… everything was new, fast paced and ever changing. It’s been amazing to see how things have grown from then to where they are today. I had a lot of great mentors during that time of my career as well as a great partner company that was forward thinking with vision and foresight to see that technology and a great online presence could help our customer’s businesses grow substantially.”

In 2015 Phil became a preferred vendor of Pennant Group, Inc. and Midwest Xposure was born. Since 2015 Midwest Xposure has been providing the same great services to a loyal client base that Phil has built strong relationships with over the last 20 years.

Midwest Xposure has the ability to help anyone with any type of business, however, Phil has over 20 years’ experience primarily focused on Manufacturing and Industrial companies. Phil’s family owned a local Manufacturing company and he grew up in its culture. “It’s somewhat of a unique asset in my field to be a web developer that has a lot of experience with the manufacturing and industrial industries. When your familiar with the language, terms, machines, materials, processes and services it just makes everything easier. The client doesn’t need to waste a bunch of time explaining everything to you. You’re also in a good position to know what they need and what their potential customers are looking for.”

Today, Midwest Xposure is working with a variety of customers in many different capacities. Most commonly converting old static HTML websites into new responsive websites or making websites SSL secure. Whether your just looking for some small maintenance on your website, a complete redesign or an ongoing partnership then Midwest Xposure is here to help!
